Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Patrimony School at patrimonyschool.com and app.patrimonyschool.com. Please read them carefully; by using the Service you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you agree on behalf of a household or class, you represent that you are an adult authorized to do so.
2. The Service
Patrimony School is a faith-based educational platform offering video courses, scheduling, family/classroom management, and (on paid plans) graded worksheets, quizzes, and exams. Free features are provided at no cost; paid features require an active subscription.
3. Accounts and student profiles
You are responsible for your account's accuracy and for keeping credentials secure. A parent or teacher who creates student profiles is responsible for those students' use and confirms authority to consent for each student. You may not share, sell, or transfer accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse or disrupt the Service, reverse-engineer or scrape it, infringe intellectual property, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use the Service to harm minors. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Content and intellectual property
- Our content (courses, curricula, the seal and brand, software) is owned by Patrimony School or its licensors and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use.
- Third-party video (e.g., YouTube) is subject to those providers' terms; we do not own it.
- Your content: you retain rights to student submissions and grant us a license to process, display, and grade them to operate the Service.
6. Plans, billing, and refunds
- Free: core courses and the parent/teacher dashboard at no cost.
- Basic & Premium: add graded assessments (and, on Premium, turning any playlist into a graded course). Prices and inclusions are shown at checkout — billed per student, per course, on a 15-month term, with family discounts at 3+ students.
- Billing term: the term is self-managed — your card is securely vaulted by our payment processor and charged according to the schedule shown at checkout, including any trial-to-active conversion and renewals.
- Cancellation & refunds: you may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated assignments and grades are free of error; grades may be reviewed and adjusted by the supervising adult.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patrimony School is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or as required by law. Provisions that should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date above and, where appropriate, notified by email.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Patrimony School is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
